IFAD to Boost Food Security in Somalia with $31 Million

The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) seeks to boost food security in Somalia with $31 million.

Somalia would receive the funding through the Rural Livelihood Resilience Program (RLRP).

IFAD announced this fresh round of funding on Tuesday.

According to IFAD, the funds would enable the East African nation to strengthen food security and resilience in the region.

The organization hopes that the funds would aid agricultural productivity while enhancing the manaegment of water resources.
