Mogadishu, Somalia – The Federal Government of Somalia has congratulated Somali activist Dr. Ifrah Ahmed for receiving an honorary degree from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland’s leading university.
Dr. Ahmed was granted an Honorary Doctorate in Law, honoring her persistent advocacy, determination, and enduring efforts to protect the rights and welfare of women and children.
This accomplishment is viewed as a matter of pride for Somalis and a source of inspiration for communities both in Somalia and worldwide.
