Ministers in charge of water resources from the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) signed a collaboration agreement on water management.
The ministers signed the agreement on Thursday.
Jama Taqal Abbas, Somalia’s Minister of Energy and Water Resources, signed the agreement on behalf of his country.
He emphasized the importance of transboundary cooperation for the equitable and sustainable management of water resources.
