Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) is holding its Digital Health Planning Meeting in Addis Ababa.
The meeting kicked off in the Ethiopian capital on Monday, August 1.
Somalia, just as is the case with all the other IGAD Member States, has sent its representatives to the meeting.
Organizers say that Cross Border Data Sharing Policy will be the meeting’s primary focus.
Participants would also discuss ways of implementing the sharing policy at the Member State level.
Further, they will discuss the setting up of a Regional Disease Surveillance System.
