The mother of the slain female National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) officer has condemned the recent remarks by a former chief spy on her daughter’s death.
Qaali Mohamud Guhaad, Tahlil’s mother, hit out at Fahad Yasin, who was the head of NISA when her daughter disappeared and was later reportedly killed.
A few days ago, Yasin gave an interview to the media in which he spoke about Tahlil’s murder.
According to Yasin, Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble knew more about the dead agent’s murder.
In her response, Tahlil’s mother called the remarks by Yasin “baseless and fallacious.”
Instead, she has called upon President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud to order fresh investigations into her daughter’s disappearance and eventual murder.
In the past, Yasin claimed that Al-Shabaab murdered Tahlil.
However, Al-Shabaab and Tahlil’s family have continuously refuted these allegations.
