The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has approved a financial arrangement worth $100 million for Somalia.
IMF announced the new arrangement on December 20.
The global organization clarified that the new arrangement would last 36 months.
It added that the arrangement would build on the progress that Somalia has made over the years.
One of Somalia’s biggest wins was reaching the completion point of an initiative known as Heavily Indebted Poor Countries (HIPC).
