The immediate former Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) has declared his intentions to vie in the upcoming parliamentary elections in Galkayo.
Mohamed Abdirizak, the former foreign affairs minister sent packing by Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble, was in Galkayo on Wednesday, December 15 on a meet-the-people tour.
He held meetings with various stakeholders in the region to inform them of his intentions to vie.
He also met traditional elders to win their support.
