Osman Dubbe, the Minister of Information in the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS), has denied reports that he leased a piece of public land to private individuals.
Recently, there were reports that the minister had given private individuals access to land owned by the Somali National Theater, in Mogadishu.
Apparently, Dubbe had leased the land to a private catering company that wanted to use it to set up a restaurant in the capital city.
On September 1, Dubbe denied such claims.
He addressed members of the press on this and laughed off the matter.
