The federal Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism has confirmed that the Somali Police Force (SPF) has a journalist in its custody.
The information ministry released a press statement dated October 12 confirming that SPF has journalist Abdalla Mumin in their custody.
In the statement, the ministry clarifies that Mumin was arrested on security-related charges.
