Abdullahi M. Nor, the Minister of Internal Security, has commended the European Union (EU) for supporting Somalia’s state-building efforts.
The minister said this on December 7 during his meeting with Tiina Intelmann, the EU Ambassador to Somalia.
Nor said that Somalia “highly appreciates” the support that the EU has been according it over the years to build a proper state.
He also recognized the role the EU has been playing in providing Somalia with the resources it needs to pursue its priorities.
Ambassador Intelmann said that the EU would not stop standing by Somalia’s side.
