The international community has welcomed the decision by the National Elections Commission (NEC) on Somaliland elections.
NEC is just from announcing the dates for presidential and parliamentary elections.
It announced that parliamentary polls would take place on December 2024.
This would then be followed by presidential elections on November 2024.
The international community commended the people of Somaliland for exercising patience while waiting on NEC to settle on election dates.
