International Literacy Day has been commemorated in Mogadishu today.
The federal Minister of Education, Culture, and Higher Education led Somalia in commemorating the literacy day.
Farah Abdulkadir, the education minister, led the event held to commemorate International Literacy Day.
This year’s event was celebrated on Thursday, September 8.
Several stakeholders from the education sector attended the event.
