International partners sent their representatives to Dhusamareb for a meeting with top Somali politicians on Tuesday, October 27.
During the meeting, the international representatives urged Somalia to continue on the path of reconciliation and collaboration.
They hailed the recent National Consultative Conference held in Mogadishu from August to September, which led to the electoral agreement.
While in Dhusamareb, the representatives held discussions with President Ahmed Abdi Kariye Qoorqoor of Galmudug.
Led by James Swan, UN Special Envoy to Somalia, they commended Qoorqoor for the role he played in the recent talks between Federal Government of Somali and Federal Member States.
The National Consultative Conference in Mogadishu was the culmination of talks that began much earlier in July in Dhusamareb.
He urged Qoorqoor and his colleagues from other regional states to continue on the path of collaboration for the benefit of all Somalis.
