International partners have promised to support the ongoing stabilization efforts in Somalia.
The partners, including the United Nations, made the promise on Thursday at the national stabilization meeting taking place in Mogadishu.
In Thursday’s meeting, Kiki Gbeho addressed other participants at the meeting.
Gbeho is the Deputy Special Representation of the Secretary-General of the UN.
Her address focused on the importance of strengthening the partnership between the UN and international partners.
She added that Somalis in the newly liberated areas need services.
