The International Organization for Migration (IOM) presented the 2023 East and Horn of Africa Migration Report to President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud.
The IOM team presented the report on Saturday.
They visited the President at Villa Somalia to present the report and discuss several important issues.
These included migration and regional integration.
They discussed the reopening of the border between Somalia and Kenya too.
Somalia’s application to join the East African Community (EAC) featured prominently in their discussions too.
