The Italy Embassy in Somalia has pledged to renovate several medical facilities in the East African nation.
Alberto Vecchi, Italy’s Ambassador to Somalia, made this announcement on Thursday September 24, 2020.
He pledged more assistance to Somalia to help the country improve delivery of health services during his meeting with Abdinur Mohamed, Deputy Chief of Staff in the Office of the President.
Mohamed hosted Ambassador Vecchi at Villa Somalia, where both leaders held discussions on wide-ranging issues affecting their nations.
Further, they agreed to restore the incredibly popular “Cultura Italiana” as part of the efforts designed to strengthen relations between Somalia and Italy.
