Italy has promised to increase cooperation and strengthen diplomatic relations with Somalia after Mohamed Hussein Roble’s confirmation as the new Prime Minister.
On Saturday, House of Representatives and the Senate are scheduled to hold a joint session to approve President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo’s appointment of Roble as the Prime Minister.
On September 24, Emanuela C. Del Re, the Vice Minister in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, offered her country’s congratulations to Roble on his new appointment.
Further, she wished him “all the best in his work.”
Del Re reassured the people and government of Somalia that Italy would never stop supporting the East African nation in various sectors.
Italy remains one of Somalia’s most loyal and important international partners.
