Deputy Prime Minister Salah Jama briefed the 37th African Union (AU) Summit on Somalia’s ongoing fight against Al-Shabaab.
DPM Jama briefed the summit on Sunday.
He briefed his fellow leaders from the AU member states on the second and last day of the summit that ran from February 18-19.
Jama added that Somalia is focused on reforming its security sector.
He gave the example of the drawdown of AU Transition Mission in Somalia (ATMIS) troops from the East African nation.
