The meeting between United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Resident Representative in Somalia, Lionel Laurens, his deputy Chris Lukk, and Japan’s Ambassador to Somalia, H.E. Okaniwa Ken, focused on enhancing the partnership between Japan and UNDP to support sustainable development in Somalia.
Their meeting was in the Kenyan capital city on Tuesday this week.
Held in Nairobi, Kenya, the discussions centered on advancing initiatives that promote human security, peace, stability, and economic development.
Both Japan and UNDP reaffirmed their commitment to working collaboratively to support Somalia’s development goals, contributing to a more peaceful and prosperous future for the country.
