Yusuf Hussein Jimale has officially taken over as the new Mayor of Mogadishu.
Mayor Jimale stepped into the office to take over from Omar M.M. Filish on Wednesday, September 14.
Deputy Prime Minister Salah Jama attended and supervised the handing-over ceremony.
President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud sent Filish packing last week and appointed Jimale in his place.
