Journalists in the regional state of Southwest are unable to access the Barowe election center to monitor the ongoing elections for House of the People (Lower House) seats.
The regional State Elections Implementation Team (SEIT) of the Southwest region closed the doors to the election center to journalists.
Journalists had wanted to monitor the polls, which kicked off on Wednesday, February 9.
Consequently, it’s not clear how journalists will get information to relay to the waiting public.
