The Jubaland administration has accused Mogadishu of blocking aid designed for victims of drought in the region.
Mohamud Sayid Adan, the Jubaland Vice President, leveled this accusation against the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS).
The Vice President was speaking to the BBC Somali Service.
He stated that FGS had refused to allow aid agencies to operate in Gedo, Jubaland.
According to Vice President Adan, Mogadishu has politicized the relief efforts that target those affected by the drought.
His comments come less than two weeks after Jubaland claimed that Mogadishu mismanaged airports in Gedo.
