Investigators from the regional states of Puntland and Jubaland completed the Investigator Development Course 1 on October 7.
The United States Embassy in Somalia congratulated the regional investigators for undertaking the training.
According to the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), the course has improved the investigators’ knowledge and skill set.
The United States Department of State INL funded the course.
The US Embassy said that the course is part of its joint efforts with the Somali Police Force (SPF) to boost the rule of law in Somalia.
