Jubaland Forces Foil an Attempted Bomb Attack

Jubaland regional forces foiled an attempted bomb attack by militants in the administrative capital of Kismayo.

The soldiers foiled the planned attack on October 25.

Sources revealed that the forces were in the region conducting a security operation in the past few hours.

During the operation, they identified and dismantled a landmine in Farjanno.

According to a military source, the troops responded to a tip from members of the public regarding the presence of the landmine.

Jubaland security command issued a statement on the matter.

In their statement, the command center expressed gratitude to the residents of Kismayo for informing them about the landmine.
