Jubba River Starts Flowing Again Amid Improved Rainfall

Jubba River has started flowing once more after a few days of rainfall in the region.

The river, which is a lifeline to most residents in the region, has been dry for some time after drought hit the region.

Jubba River, which is in the Gedo town of Bardhere, was in its full flow on Saturday, March 26.

Rains have started falling in several parts of Somalia over the last few days.

The ongoing devastating drought left Jubba River and Shabelle River dry.
