The regional state of Jubbaland has appealed for urgent humanitarian assistance.
Ahmed Hassan Omar, the Jubbaland Minister of Relief, made the appeal on Friday.
He was speaking in response to the severe flooding that has hit the Bardhere district.
“Those affected by the floods require immediate assistance,” Omar said.
