The regional state of Jubbaland has elected the last batch of legislators to the House of the People (Lower House).
Jubbaland’s State Elections Implementation Team (SEIT) announced the conclusion of the polls on April 24.
The regional state had conducted elections for eight federal legislators on Friday.
The remaining eight were then elected on Saturday.
Consequently, Jubbaland now joins the list of the Federal Member States (FMS) that have concluded Lower House polls.
HirShabelle remains the only state yet to conclude its elections.
