The regional state of Jubbaland held elections for five House of the People (Lower House) seats on February 22.
The elections took place in Kismayo, the regional state’s administrative capital.
Electoral delegates gathered at Kismayo for the Tuesday elections.
Jubbaland’s polls come only three days before the deadline of February 25 when the entire country should have concluded elections for all Lower House seats.
