Kismayo – Jubbaland President Ahmed Mohamed Islam Madobe held a high-level meeting with UK Ambassador to Somalia Charles King and his French counterpart, Ambassador Arnaud Suquet.
According to a statement from the regional administration, Madobe and the two European diplomats met in Kismayo earlier today.
The talks centered on Somalia’s evolving political landscape, with “particular emphasis on the urgent need for an inclusive national dialogue,” the statement said.
The meeting signals growing international interest in promoting unity and consensus among Somalia’s political actors amid heightened federal tensions.
Both ambassadors reaffirmed their countries’ support for peacebuilding and dialogue-based solutions.
