The leader of the regional state of Jubbaland visited camps for internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Dhobley town.
Jubbaland’s President Ahmed Islam Madobe visited several IDP settlements in Dhobley town.
He visited the IDPs on Wednesday, June 29.
The Jubbaland President was in Dhobley town with other members of his administration to evaluate the humanitarian situation on the ground.
Many people in the IDP camps fled from their homes because of the ongoing drought.
