Lawmakers from the Jubbaland State have expressed strong support for President Ahmed Madobe’s call for a consultation meeting scheduled in Kismaayo from November 8 to 11, 2024.
Following Monday’s parliamentary session, the legislators spoke to journalists, emphasizing their endorsement of the gathering.
They also voiced concerns over the possibility of “potential travel restrictions” that could hinder participation.
However, the federal government has not officially indicated any intention to impose such restrictions.
