The leaders of the regional states of Jubbaland, Southwest, and Galmudug are in Mogadishu for the National Consultative Council (NCC).
Presidents Ahmed Madobe, Abdi Karie Qoorqoor, and Abdiaziz Laftagareen all arrived in the nation’s capital on Monday for the summit.

It is unlikely that Puntland’s President Said Abdullahi Deni will attend the meeting due to his differences with Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud.
