The regional state of Jubbaland plans to conclude elections for the remaining Lower House seats on April 23.
Jubbaland’s State Elections Implementation Team (SEIT) announced that the elections would take place on Saturday in El-Wak.
The region conducted elections for eight out of the 16 seats on Friday, April 22.
Jubbaland and HirShabelle are the only Federal Member States (FMS) yet to conclude elections for the House of the People seats.
The remaining seats whose elections take place today are HOP#110, HOP#122, HOP#123, HOP#125, and HOP#131.
