Jubbaland has introduced new measures to help it increase fish production in the regional state.
The local administration will work closely with the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) to ensure that it witnesses a boost in fish production.
Jubbaland will receive help from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) too.
Furthermore, they will work closely together to strengthen fisheries cooperation in Jubbaland.
Specifically, USAID and FAO will provide the training and equipment that fisheries cooperation and fish farmers need to thrive.
