Mohamud Siyad Adan, the Vice President of the regional state of Jubbaland, chaired the latest cabinet meeting.
Vice President Adan chaired the meeting on March 24 in Kismayo.
He chaired it in the absence of the region’s President Ahmed Islam Madobe.
The main item on the agenda was the unfinished elections for House of the People (Lower House) seats.
During the meeting, the Ministry of Interior Security also briefed the cabinet on the region’s security and the ongoing fight against Al-Shabaab.
