The federal Minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs has signed the Children’s Age Verification Policy.
Justice Minister Hassan Sheikh Ali signed the policy on Tuesday.
In signing the policy, Sheikh Ali expressed hope that it would now elevate the children’s justice system in Somalia to international standards.
The policy was developed in the context of national child reform efforts.
