Ahmed Karaash has appointed a new Governor of the Mudug region in Puntland.
Vice President Karaash, who is Puntland’s Acting President in the absence of President Said Abdullahi Deni, appointed Feisal Sheikh Ali Mohamed as Governor of Mudug.
He made the appointment on April 25.
Karaash announced that Governor Mohamed assumes the responsibilities of his office with immediate effect.
