Kenya has a new representative in Somaliland.
On October 4, President William Ruto appointed Abdiweli Muhammed Hussein to serve as Kenya’s new representative to Somaliland.
Hussein becomes the new High Commissioner to Somaliland.
By virtue of his appointment and the title he now holds, Kenya also raised the profile of its diplomatic office in Somaliland.
