Kenya has written to the International Court of Justice (ICJ) asking it to delay the maritime case with Somalia yet again.
Until today, Kenya has successfully asked ICJ to postpone the case three times.
Somalia wants the matter resolved comprehensively by ICJ and has never shied from stating its disappointment with the frequent postponements.
The first postponement was in September 2019. This was followed by another postponement in November 2019.
Kenya asked for and got another postponement in June 2020.
This time, Kenyan government has asked for postponement a month before the case was scheduled to come up for hearing at The Hague in March 2021.
