Kenya is ready to train over 1,000 teachers from Somalia.
Those chosen for the training would then be able to teach at different levels of education in Somalia.
The announcement was made on July 27.
Kenyan President William Ruto made the announcement during his meeting with Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre of Somalia.
They met during the African Human Capital Heads of State Summit in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania.
The training would go a long way toward improving education standards in Somalia.
