Several Kenya Defense Forces (KDF) soldiers were injured when their helicopter crashed in the Somalia region of Dhobley.
Reports indicate that the soldiers were injured in the Monday night incident.
Further, multiple sources have confirmed that the seven KDF soldiers injured in the incident are now receiving treatment in hospital.
The seriously injured soldiers were airlifted to Nairobi for treatment while the rest remain at the AMISOM hospital in Mogadishu.
No fatalities have been reported, though.
The chopper was on its way back to Mogadishu from Lower Juba where it had delivered supplies to AMISOM soldiers.
Neither KDF nor AMISOM has issued a comment or statement on the incident.
