King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) has donated tons of dates to feed needy families in Somaliland.
Reports from Hargeisa said that the organization made the donations in conjunction with the National Disaster Preparedness and Food Reserve Authority of Somaliland.
The two organizations donated 100 tons of dates in several regions around the country.
According to multiple sources, the dates are for 100,000 individuals facing food shortage and acute hunger.
Faisal Ali Sheikh, who heads the National Disaster Preparedness and Food Reserve Authority, the dates would ensure that individuals around the country get the urgent relief that they need.
The donation is the latest by KSRelief, which has a history of providing humanitarian assistance in both Somalia and Somaliland over the years.
