KSRelief Signs Deal with Somaliland for a Water and Sanitation Project

On Tuesday, King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) signed a deal with Somaliland for a water and sanitation project in the country.

The deal, which was also signed with the Norwegian Refugee Council, is worth $2 million and is set to benefit over 42,000 people in the region.

When complete, the project would give locals access to clean water.

Consequently, that would also lead to a huge reduction in the types of diseases arising from lack of clean drinking water.

Furthermore, the new water and sanitation project would also help to combat the effects of the novel coronavirus pandemic.

The three parties involved in the project signed the deal virtually because of COVID-19 fears.
