President Muse Bihi Abdi has been reelected as the party leader of Kulmiye Party, the ruling party in Somaliland.
Consequently, President Bihi is eligible to seek reelection as the President of Somaliland in the upcoming elections.
Bihi first earned the right to be Kulmiye Party’s flag bearer after delegates endorsed him as the party leader five years ago.
With his reelection as the Chairman, Bihi is now scheduled to lead his party for the next five years.
President Bihi expressed gratitude to the rank and file of the party for their endorsement. He assured them of a leadership that is open to criticism and corrections.
