Southwest’s leader has awarded individuals and teams that were responsible for the just-concluded parliamentary elections.
President Abdiaziz Hassan Mohamed Laftagareen recognized the federal polls body, dispute resolution committee, and several individuals for a stellar job.
Laftagareen gave the teams and individuals their awards on March 20.
Members of Southwest’s State Elections Implementation Team (SEIT) were among those awarded in Sunday’s ceremony.
Officers from the Federal Elections Implementation Team (FEIT) also got their awards.
He also awarded security officers, journalists, and members of the dispute resolution committee.
