President Abdiaziz Hassan Mohamed Laftagareen of the Southwest State hosted his counterparts from Galmudug and Puntland.
Laftagareen hosted the two leaders in his office in Baidoa, the administrative capital of the Southwest State.
President Said Abdullahi Deni from Puntland and President Ahmed Abdi Karie Qoorqoor of Galmudug were in Baidoa on December 19.
Laftagareen is preparing to celebrate his third year anniversary in office.
During Sunday’s meeting, the three regional state leaders discussed several issues of mutual interest, including the ongoing parliamentary elections in the country.
