President Abdiaziz Hassan Mohamed Laftagareen of the Southwest state expressed gratitude to the European Union (EU) for its investments in the region.
Laftagareen thanked the EU when he recently held discussions with Ambassador Tiina Intelmann in Nairobi.
The Southwest leader listed the sectors where the EU has made considerable investments.
These include manufacturing as well as improvements in the regional state’s infrastructure. He also listed the role that the EU has played in strengthening security in the region.
President Laftagareen stated that the EU’s investments continue enhancing sustainable economic growth and development in Southwest.
