Traditional elders from Las Anod briefed Somali Disaster Management Agency (SODMA) officials on the humanitarian situation in the region.
The elders, who are currently on an official visit in Mogadishu, held discussions with Mahamuud Moallim, the SODMA Commissioner.
They paid Moallim a courtesy call at the agency’s offices on Wednesday.
The traditional elders expressed gratitude to SODMA for the incredible humanitarian support accorded to Las Anod in recent past.
