Latest Batch of Eritrea-Trained Somali Soldiers Arrive in Mogadishu

The latest batch of Somali National Army (SNA) soldiers who were trained in Eritrea are back in the country.

The soldiers arrived at the Aden Adde International Airport in Mogadishu on Tuesday.

Maj. Gen. Ibrahim Sheikh Muhiyidin, the Chief of Armed Forces, led senior SNA officers in welcoming them back home.

Eritrea-trained SNA soldiers have been arriving back home over the last few months.

Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud asked them to rest briefly before joining the ongoing war against Al-Shabaab terrorists.
