The leader of SSC-Khaatumo has traveled to Mogadishu for a series of meetings with federal government officers.
Abdiqadir Ahmed Awcali Firdhiye arrived in the nation’s capital on Friday.
He traveled to Mogadishu with his SSC-Khaatumo colleagues at the invitation of Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre.
Furthermore, there are reports that Firdhiye is also set for meetings with United Nations representatives.
Firdhiye and Prime Minister Barre are scheduled to discuss the latest developments in SSC-Khaatumo, which encompasses Sool, Sanaag, and Cayn/Ayn regions.
SSC-Khaatumo has vociferously fought with the Somaliland military in Las Anod for much of this year.
